ST-DUO (Sofia Sakhnova and Antonina Luzko) are among the most extraordinary pianists of today's generation. The duo performs popular works created by composers of past centuries, pieces by contemporary authors, and original author's arrangements of classical music masterpieces. Confident ensemble partnership, coherence, stage charm and an already established image - this is what distinguishes the creative tandem of Sofia and Antonina, graduates of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, from other young performers. The pianists successfully continue the traditions of duo musicianship, a genre so popular at all times, offering both professionals and music lovers finely constructed, conceptual concert programs. Duo performances are often accompanied by choreographic numbers that give birth to exquisite musical-theater performances. The ensemble's repertoire includes original works for piano duet by composers of different eras, as well as their own transcriptions. Sofia Sakhnova and Antonina Luzko are both graduates of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music. The duo made their debut in October 2016 at the Academy's Concert Hall.
